Connect Zoom or Google Meet for online appointments

Zelun creates a separate meeting for each appointment in your own Zoom or Google Meet account. Zelun does not host, record, or provide the video call. If a practitioner connects their account, their appointments use it; other appointments use the business account. With no connected account, you can paste a link on the service, but every appointment for that service shares the same room.

You need a Zoom or Google account that can create meetings. The owner can connect the business account; each practitioner can connect their own from their staff page. Your provider plan and its limits are separate from Zelun.

1. Open Settings → Video calls and choose Connect Zoom or Connect Google Meet. Sign in and grant the provider permissions.
2. To have a practitioner host their own meetings, open Team → People, select the person, and connect their account under Video calls.
3. In My business → Catalog → Services, mark the service Online. With a connected account, Zelun creates one meeting per appointment. Without one, you can enter a fixed link; the form warns that every client receives the same room.
4. Book normally. The appointment sheet in Book shows and lets you copy the link once ready.
5. Disconnecting revokes Zelun's access to create new meetings. Meetings already created remain in the provider account.

Confirmation, reminder, and reschedule email or SMS includes the link once ready. The calendar invitation includes it too. On WhatsApp, the client uses the existing manage-booking button; the manage page shows Join the video call. The button disappears after cancellation. If the provider is slow or unavailable, the booking remains confirmed and the message says the link will arrive in the reminder and appear in the booking.

• Pending link. The appointment is booked. Zelun retries creating the meeting; the appointment sheet offers another attempt.
• Account needs reconnection. If Zoom or Google revokes access, the owner gets an alert. Reconnect on Settings → Video calls or the practitioner's page.
• Shared fixed link. A pasted link without a connected account sends several appointments to the same room. Connect Zoom or Google Meet for a separate meeting per appointment.
• Rescheduling or changing practitioner. A time change keeps the same meeting. Moving to a practitioner who hosts from another account creates a new link.
