Book an appointment for your child or someone in your care

What it is

You can book an appointment for your child or someone else in your care with your own phone number. The appointment is in their name, and you get the messages, pay the deposit and sign the forms.

Before you start

  1. Your phone number, the same one you book with.
  2. The name of the person you are bringing.
  3. If you booked for them before, sign in: the page lists the people in your care so you can pick them without typing again.

Steps

  1. On the details step, answer Who is the appointment for? and choose Someone else.
  2. Type their name (or pick them from the list if they are there) and confirm.
  3. If you type a name different from the one the business already has for your phone, the page asks Is it the same person?. Answer Yes only if it is; if not, the appointment is for someone in your care and your name does not change.
  4. For two children, book once for each, or use the page's group booking, with your phone.
  5. Press Book (or Pay & book if there is a deposit).

What happens next

Reminders and notices come to you and say who they are for: "Cut for Diego". If the business uses discreet messages they say "Mateo's appointment". The deposit is charged to you, and any forms or consent are signed by you; the business records that you signed as the guardian. From the appointment link you can cancel or change it.

Common mistakes

  • Typing another name for yourself. If it is for you, choose Me; the business does not change your name without asking.
  • Expecting the reminder on another phone. It comes to yours.
  • Answering "Yes, it is the same person" by mistake. It changes the record's name. If it was a slip, tell the business.
