Follow your made-to-order job: steps, payments, refunds and invoices

What it is

When you approve a made-to-order quote, the business creates your order and gives you a personal link to follow it. That page shows which step your order is at, what you have paid and what is left, a refund to decide on if there is one, and your invoices. Everything appears in your language, and you do not need an account.

Before you start

  1. Your order link, which the business sent you when you approved the quote. Whoever has it can see the page, so keep it to yourself.
  2. To pay online, your card or the payment details the page offers.

Steps

See which step your order is at

  1. Open your link. Under Order status you see the current step and, below it, the timeline with every step.
  2. The steps, in order, are Measured, Confirmed, In production, Ready and Delivered. If the business cancels the order, it shows Cancelled.
  3. The step moves when the business changes it; you do not need to do anything. If the business has notices turned on, you also get a message.

See the visits to your address

  1. Under Visits to your address you see each of the business's visits to your home: the measuring, the delivery or the installation, with its day and time, the address and the first name of whoever is coming.
  2. Press Add to my calendar to save a visit. A day before, a reminder arrives with the link to this page and the map to your address.
  3. To change a visit, write to the business: the page does not let you move it yourself. If the business has a contact phone, you see a WhatsApp button.
  4. If there are no visits yet, the page tells you it will let you know when the delivery or the installation is scheduled.

Check your payments

  1. The payments section shows the deposit and the balance, each with its amount and status.
  2. Pending means it has not been paid yet. Paid means the business has received it. Voided means that charge was cancelled and no longer needs paying. Payment in progress means your payment has started and we are waiting for confirmation; the page updates when it arrives.
  3. Next to a payment already made you see how it was paid: Card, OXXO, SPEI transfer, Cash, Card terminal or Bank transfer.
  4. To pay a pending charge online, press its pay button and follow the steps. If it could not start, try again.

Choose what to do with a refund

  1. If a refund is due to you, the page asks How would you like to receive your refund?. Choose Refund to the original payment method, Receive account credit or Receive cash at the business.
  2. After that you see the refund's status: Waiting for your choice, Refund in progress, Refunded, Converted to account credit, Refund at the business pending or Refunded at the business.

Download your invoices

  1. Under Invoices each document appears with its type: Deposit invoice, Order invoice, Credit note or Invoice for the amount kept.
  2. Press Download PDF or Download XML to save it.

Download your signed quote

If the business asked you to sign when you approved, your order page shows Signed quote with who signed and when. Press Download the signed PDF to keep your copy; we also emailed it to you.

See your progress photos

  1. If your business takes photos of your order, the order page asks Do you want to see progress photos? Press Yes, I want to see progress photos to agree, or No, thanks.
  2. Once you agree, Progress photos shows them grouped by stage, newest first, with their date. The stage messages also say how many new photos there are.
  3. To stop, press Stop seeing photos. You will no longer see them and the business cannot add new ones; you can agree again whenever you want. Only you see them, with your order link.

See your warranty and report a problem

  1. Warranty shows until when your order is covered, item by item where the dates differ. Before delivery it says the warranty will apply on delivery; after the date it reads Warranty ended. The warranty counts from the day of delivery.
  2. After delivery, under Is something wrong?, press Report a problem, describe it, pick the item if you want and add up to five photos. If the photo space is full you can still send the report without photos.
  3. Your report appears as a card with its status: Open, Scheduled (with the day and time of the visit), Declined or Resolved, with the business's reason or note, and a link when they sent you a repair quote. You also get a message at each step.
  4. You can have up to three open reports at a time.

What happens next

When the order reaches Ready, the business tells you and the balance is created; once you pay it and receive your order, the step becomes Delivered. If something changes, open your link again: the page always shows the latest.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting the step to change by itself when you pay. The business changes the step; paying only lets it move on.
  • Seeing Payment in progress and paying again. Wait a few minutes for it to confirm before trying again.
  • Looking for the invoice before it exists. Invoices appear once the business issues them.
  • Sharing the link. Whoever has it can see your order.
  • Expecting a refund to be instant. It depends on the method you choose; the status tells you where it stands.
