Your monthly AI limit: what counts, what happens at the limit and when it resets
What it is
AI is included in your plan, up to a limit each month. The limit depends on how many bookable people your business has: each person adds the same amount to the total, so when you add someone your limit goes up at once.
Everything that uses AI counts toward the same monthly total:
- Assists you ask for: booking an appointment with one sentence (New appointment), summarizing notes, redrafting a dictated note (Redraft), the report sentence, the cash drawer observation, the overdue orders observation, the product suggestion at checkout, quote drafts, the supplier message draft, the setup assistant and the support assistant, also when your team uses it from the app or the panel (each question counts once, whoever asks it).
- Automatic AI: the WhatsApp assistant's replies to your clients (each model call counts), reading your clients' replies on WhatsApp or SMS, sorting cancellation reasons and writing waitlist, order and quote notices.
The month follows Mexico City time and the count goes back to zero on the 1st. What you do not use does not carry over. The AI in your assistants never spends your usage credits. Dictating or recording a visit does not count here: those minutes have their own monthly allowance and then use credits, as the article on dictating and recording the visit explains. Only Redraft counts here, as one assist.
Before you start
There is nothing to set up. To see how much you have used, open My business and go to Plan: the AI this month meter shows what you used, your limit, the date it resets and how much was assists and how much automatic AI. It warns you at 80% and says so plainly at 100%.
Steps
- Open My business and go to Plan.
- Look at the AI this month meter.
- If you reached the limit, keep working without AI: each screen shows its standard version and one line saying you reached the limit, how much you used and when it resets. Press See your plan on that line to return to the meter.
- If you need more, check your plan: the limit grows with the number of bookable people.
What your clients see
Your clients never see the meter or the notices. When the limit is reached, automatic AI stops and messages to your clients still go out with their standard text. The WhatsApp assistant pauses too: the client gets the usual buttons and replies, with the fee notice before cancelling, and is not told about the limit. The WhatsApp page shows the same state. A client's free-text reply to a reminder is no longer read with AI; the client gets the link to manage the appointment.
Common mistakes
- Thinking you are charged for going over. Nothing extra is charged and there are no AI packs: at the limit, AI waits for the reset.
- Expecting unused AI to carry into next month. It does not.
- Thinking the support assistant stops helping. At the limit it does not answer with AI, but it shows up to three matching help articles and lets you send your question to support.
- Thinking Redraft charges minutes. It charges no minutes, but it counts as one assist in this limit. At the limit you cannot redraft, but you can still type or fix the note by hand.
- Expecting your work to be blocked. Summaries, reports, quotes and messages work the same; only the AI part is missing.
- Thinking your team is left without help. At the limit, a team member who asks sees the limit line with the date it resets, the matching articles, and the options Ask your owner and Write to Zelun support; you see Write to Zelun support. A question that cannot be answered (for example, because it needs a permission the person does not have) is not counted.
