Your notification list in the app and how to turn notifications off
What it is
In your business's app, Notifications holds two things: your settings, to choose which alerts you want on your phone, and the History, the list of what the business sent you. You only see your own, never anyone else's.
The history keeps the alerts from the last 90 days, newest first, grouped under Today, Yesterday, This week and Earlier. The ones you have not opened yet carry the mark Unopened. If an alert did not reach your phone, it still appears in the list with Not delivered to this phone, so you never miss it.
Before you start
- Install your business's app and sign in with your phone number.
- To get alerts on your phone, allow notifications when the app asks. You can look at the history even if you turned them down.
Steps
See your notifications
- Tap your initial, at the top right, to open Your account.
- Open Notifications and then History.
- Tap an alert to open what it told you about, such as your appointment.
Turn off what you do not want
- In Your account, open Notifications. It shows whether everything is on or how many you turned off.
- Turn off the category you do not want:
- Reminders: before your appointment.
- Confirmations and changes: when you book, reschedule or cancel.
- Payments: payment links and receipts.
- Quotes: when you have one ready to sign.
- Orders: stage changes and progress photos.
- Documents: when one is shared with you.
- Waitlist: when a spot you are waiting for opens up.
- What you turn off still reaches you as usual by WhatsApp, SMS or email.
What happens next
Tapping an alert in the history opens what it told you about. If you have no connection, the list may not load and you will see "Your notifications could not be loaded"; try again once you are online. If a settings change is not saved, the app tells you and you can try again.
On the lock screen, alerts carry no private details. If your business is a clinic or uses private mode, they do not show the reason for the appointment, who sees you or amounts; you see them when you open the app. The notes of your appointment are never sent as a notification.
If you have no alerts yet, the list says "You have no notifications yet".
Common mistakes
- I cannot find an old alert. The history keeps 90 days; older ones no longer appear.
- I turned off a category and still get the message. That is expected: what you turn off stops coming to the app, but it reaches you by WhatsApp, SMS or email.
- An alert says "Not delivered to this phone". Check that notifications are allowed in your phone's settings; the alert stays in the list even though it did not sound.
